Preaching Minister

The Turlock Church of Christ is prayerfully seeking a passionate, Scripture-driven preacher to join us in reaching and equipping the next generation in California’s Central Valley.

Primary Responsibilities
Deliver an engaging, Bible-centered sermon every Sunday morning
Teach Sunday morning Bible class on occasion and/or Sunday evening classes (Sunday PM includes one whole-church devotional each month and classes the other weeks)
Occasionally teach a Wednesday adult class
Partner with elders and members in visitation, counseling, and discipleship
Work alongside a full-time administrative assistant to keep the ministry running smoothly
Help cast an engaging Jesus-centered vision for the church and lead outreach efforts in the church and the community

Who We’re Praying For
A man who is a strong Bible student, fully committed to the authority of Scripture and New Testament Christianity
Gifted preacher and teacher who connects God’s word to real-life struggles with clarity, conviction, and grace
Strong relational skills with a heart for young adults, college students, families, and the lost
Proven experience in full-time ministry is beneficial, but the gift of preaching, a heart devoted to God and people, and a strong self-motivating work ethic are most important
Experience in addiction counseling and/or marriage/family counseling is a strong asset but not required.

Youth Minister

Van Alstyne Church of Christ, Texas

Mission
The mission is to help develop a genuine, personal faith in our teens. To make disciples who are making disciples.

Teenagers should be spiritually equipped and prepared for life after high school—when they leave home and enter college or the workplace. They should be led to respect and apply biblical scripture as their guide through this life and the life to come.

Discipleship
Discipleship is a key part of the work in Van Alstyne. We believe our youth ministry should be focused on creating opportunities for our teens to become disciples. It is important for them to be show how to follow Jesus through teaching and example. There should be a focus on equipping students to reach and encourage their friends to follow Christ.

Ministry
This ministry leads our youth in grades seven through twelve through personal experiences with Bible-based application. The youth minister partners with parents and church leaders to facilitate spiritual development in our youth. This ministry should support healthy relationships with peers, parents, and other Christians of all ages and circumstances.

Preacher/minister needed

Full-Time Preacher Needed
We are prayerfully seeking a full-time preacher to work with us at the church of Christ in Pagosa Springs, Colorado. Candidates should have strong communication skills, be self-motivated, uphold biblical authority, and have a sincere love for the brethren and the spreading of the gospel. Responsibilities include weekly sermons, teaching adult Bible classes, and developing outreach strategies. Our congregation is small body of believers, but our numbers fluctuate between 15 and 50 due to tourism.

Senior Minister

The Cloverland Church of Christ is prayerfully seeking a Bi-Vocational Minister to help lead us into our next season of growth and ministry.

About the Congregation:
• Average attendance: 85–110 on Sundays
• Two Sunday services: 7:15 AM & 9:45 AM
• Located in one of the largest cities in America (Houston, TX)
• Remodeled church building with a nice office suite for the minister
• No elders at this time — but a passionate, willing congregation ready to work

Evangelist

Evangelist sought for Torch Hill Road Church of Christ, Columbus, GA, near Fort Benning. The ideal fit would be a brother bringing full or partial support, possibly a combination of outside work or supplemental pension. The congregation provides a beautiful 4 bedroom, 2 full bathroom brick ranch house, and all utilities. Expectations would be teaching 1 class per week, editing bulletin, speaking twice on Sun, keeping hours twice a week at the building for personal work, counseling, etc. The ability to converse in Spanish is admired, but not required.

Full-time Preacher

The Fredericksburg Church of Christ in Fredericksburg, Virginia, is seeking a full-time pulpit preacher. Fredericksburg and the surrounding area is a vibrant, growing community, approximately 50 miles south of Washington DC. Fredericksburg averages approximately 90 in attendance on Sunday mornings and has varied ministries. The congregation is served by five elders and six deacons.

Minister

Walsenburg Church of Christ, Colorado

Our goals for finding a minister to work with this congregation includes:

A desire to lead people to Christ teaching not only the form of worship, but the great joy found in spiritual relationships with God through His great love for us as manifest in the gospel of Jesus Christ as communicated originally by Holy Spirit inspiration.

A broad and thorough knowledge of the old and new testaments.

The ability to work with members to deepen and continue to develop our faith and have a strong desire to be evangelists to a lost world.

Desired Ability:
As we do not have elders, the ability to work collaboratively with the men of congregation.

Based on initial conversations and preliminary screening, an in person or zoom interview with members of the congregation may be held. Eventually we will want to see either in person or via streaming, a sermon message. Finally, an in person meeting with the whole congregation will be held prior to offering the position.

Salary:
We expect to be able to support this position with an annual salary in the mid $40,000 range, depending on experience and our continued financial ability.

Pulpit Minister

The Bridge Avenue church of Christ located in Weslaco, Texas is currently looking for a full time pulpit minister. Weslaco is located in South Texas about 15 minutes from the border with Mexico and 50 minutes from South Padre Island. The congregation averages 130-160 souls (seasonal fluctuation) in the Sunday morning assembly. The leadership consists of 3 Elders and 4 Deacons at this moment.

Minister duties include preaching sound doctrine, teaching bible classes, evangelism/community outreach, regular office hours, visiting the sick/shut ins, etc.

A 3 bedroom, 2 bath house is provided for housing. Along with your resume please include a recent picture and cover letter telling us about yourself and your family.
