The church includes individuals from 14 U.S. states and 12 foreign countries and is overseen by 6 elders and served by 13 deacons. With a Spanish minister from Nicaragua, many members fluent in Spanish, and a strong Hispanic influence in the surrounding community, the West Broward church is involved in mission work both domestically and internationally throughout the Caribbean and Central/South America. With the help of a full-time youth minister, the congregation has an active children’s ministry and family outreach program and participates in activities like summer Bible camp and Lads to Leaders.

West Broward’s ideal pulpit minister would be familiar with the South Florida culture and meet the following preferences:
• married with children
• a Bible degree from a Christian college/university, certificate from a brotherhood preaching school, or comparable experience
• a commitment to biblical principles and the organization/operation of the New Testament church
• counseling experience
• ability to collaborate successfully in a work environment with elders/deacons/ministers/office staff
• strong preaching skills and the ability to communicate effectively with all members of the church from young people to seniors
• experience in local evangelism and service to non-members
• experience in church education and edification of the membership
• a minimum of 10 years of full-time preaching experience

Salary:
The elders are willing to negotiate a generous, full-time salary commensurate with the applicant’s qualifications and experience. A newly-renovated, spacious parsonage will also be included in the hiring package.

YOUTH MINISTER SEARCH

The West Broward church of Christ is seeking a full-time Youth Minister to direct a Christ-centered ministry for our young people. We are a sound congregation rooted in New Testament Christianity with a youth group full of potential under the right leadership. We are looking for a man who can serve faithfully under the elders of the West Broward congregation and help our parents and volunteers grow our youth program spiritually by the will of God.

Congregational Summary:

Responsibilities:
• Lead weekly Bible studies, youth devotionals, and/or fellowship activities
• Organize service projects, retreats, Bible camps, and outreach events
• Mentor young people individually and/or in groups
• Build relationships with youth, parents, and volunteers
• Lead Vacation Bible School and other congregational events

Qualifications:
• Faithful child of God attending a sound congregation of the church of Christ
• Degree in Bible, youth ministry, education, or related field (preferable, but not required)
• Experience working with youth in church settings (preferably 2+ years)
• Effective communication, organization, and relational skills
• High moral character providing a Christ-like example
• Willingness to collaborate closely with elders, parents, and volunteers

The church of Christ of Struthers (OH) in Youngstown, Ohio is looking for a full-time Pulpit Minister. We are looking for a minister who is sound in the gospel, encourages Christian living and values, and is willing to be active in the surrounding community. Standard duties include to preaching, teaching participating in other congregational fellowship and activities. Struthers is a suburb of Youngstown, Ohio – conveniently located midway between Cleveland and Pittsburgh. Our congregation has two elders and two deacons with an average Sunday morning attendance of 50. We are non-instrumental but do use technology in our worship services. Small aging congregation in south St. Louis County, MO with two elders is seeking an evangelist to work with the congregation. Our average Sunday attendance: 40 – 50. We have a desire to grow spiritually and numerically. We provide monetary support to several missions and children’s homes, and maintain a Pantry/Blessing Box to serve the community.

We seek a biblically sound minister who would present sermons on Sunday morning and evening, and teach a Wednesday night Bible class. He should have good communication and interpersonal skills (with groups and individuals). Work would include visiting erring/delinquent members, the sick and shut-ins. Regular office hours 4 days a week are expected. Preaching experience preferred, but not required

Salary $50,000 to $60,000 – negotiable considering experience and family needs. Housing, including utilities, is provided.

We are currently searching for a full-time pulpit minister at the Stilwell Church of Christ located in Stilwell, Oklahoma. We are a town of around 4000 people located in northeastern Oklahoma. We have 6 elders and an average worship attendance of 50. The church is well established in the community.
We are looking for a minister who will present weekly scriptural lessons as well as teach classes as called upon to do. He must be able to lead other activities such as VBS to meet the needs of the congregation.
We are looking for someone to help us grow spiritually and numerically. He must be able to visit the sick and shut-ins as practical for him to do.
He would work with the eldership to plan programs, worship services and special events.
He would be of good moral character and lead by his Christian example.
He must have a biblical education and some ministry experience.
