The Bates Hill Church of Christ in Sarahsville, Ohio is looking for a full time pulpit preacher. We are a congregation with an average Sunday morning attendance of between 90 to a 100. We have 6 elders and 7 deacons. Our current preacher is 77 years old and has been our full time minister for 21 years. He is also one of our elders and will continue to serve in that capacity. We have been experiencing some spiritual maturing and modest numerical growth and our desire is for that to continue with another man of God in our pulpit. After a promising interview we would have the candidate preach a series of Gospel meetings (Sunday thru Wednesday) as a tryout and then ask for congregational input.
