After 35 years of service, our beloved preacher has announced his retirement.
The Snellville Church of Christ in Snellville, Georgia, is seeking a full-time Pulpit Minister to join our congregation and labor with us in teaching the Word and reaching souls for Christ.
We are a stable and growing congregation of approximately 300 in attendance, served by 7 elders, 21 deacons, a youth minister, and a children’s ministry director working together in unity to strengthen disciples and engage our community.
We are active in outreach and service, growing through an “inside-out” evangelistic mindset,
strengthening members while reaching the community as well as several international missions.
The minister we seek will serve primarily as a teacher and evangelist by:
● Preaching Sunday morning sermons
● Teaching periodic Sunday and/or Wednesday Bible classes
● Helping equip members for evangelism and discipleship
● Participating in community outreach efforts
● Working alongside elders in a shepherd-led congregation
We seek a man with a spiritual focus, committed to:
● Bible-centered preaching
● Evangelistic teaching
● Discipleship and spiritual growth
● Sound doctrine and love for the church
● Building relationships with members and visitors
Qualifications:
● Degree in Bible, Theology, or School of Preaching
● Strong communicator of Scripture
● Heart for souls and congregational care
● Desire to work humbly under the oversight of elders
