The candidate must hold fast to Biblical truths and must preach and teach from God’s Word only and have a degree from Preaching School or equivalent background / experience. Our existing minister is available for a 12 month overlap period for mentoring purposes. Pulpit Minister – Alpine Church of Christ
We are looking for a pulpit minister to join and serve our congregation in Alpine, Texas. We are located in the Big Bend region of West Texas, about 200 miles southeast of El Paso. Alpine is a small town (~6000 people) in a rural area offering beautiful scenery and a great community.
Our minister is expected to have experience studying and delivering the truth of God’s Word and will be expected to work with the leadership and membership of the church. The ideal candidate will also seek to be involved in church activities and community outreach efforts. Key responsibilities include Sunday morning Bible class, Sunday sermon, and Wednesday night Bible class. Coverage of additional lessons may be requested or may be coordinated between the minister and other men in the church as need arises or the minister’s ability necessitates.
Compensation is dependent on experience and ability to cover stated duties; includes a 2 bed 1 bath house with all utilities paid.

Associate, Youth & College Minister
The Ruston Church of Christ (located 5 minutes from Louisiana Tech & 10 minutes from Grambling) is a vibrant congregation in North Central Louisiana with an average attendance of 130-160. Our mission is to preach the Word of God and help the Church grow throughout our area. We seek a passionate and energetic married individual to serve as our Associate Minister, with a primary focus on youth and college ministry. This includes a proven ability to connect with young adults, as evidenced by previous experience in leading youth groups or college ministries, successfully implementing programs, and growing and developing leaders within those ministries. Responsibilities:
Preach and teach within the congregation.
Lead and/or assist in developing youth ministry and college ministry.

Lead and/or assist in raising support for the college ministry.
Maintain the Christian Student Center (CSC)
Write quarterly newsletter to supporting congregations concerning the CSC and other news pertaining to the college ministry.
Plan and/or attend youth events.

Qualifications:
* A bachelor’s degree in Bible, Ministry, Theology, or a related field, or a diploma from a reputable preaching school, is preferred.
* Experience working with youth and/or college students in a church setting.
* Strong preaching and teaching abilities.

Palm Spring Church of Christ, California
Overview
This is a full-time position and requires a person who will bring a full-time commitment to this important work. We are looking for a man who loves the Lord, who has a firm grasp of the Holy Scripture, who has an evangelistic mindset, and is willing to come in and work hard to spread God’s word throughout the community and help the church grow into a vibrant part of Palm Springs and the surrounding area.
We are blessed with an aged, but fantastic facility that can seat about one hundred fifty, has several classrooms, a kitchen, a fellowship hall, a nursery, a minister’s house, a large parking lot, and other spaces. With more enhanced management, many of these spaces could be better used to the Lord’s glory.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Pulpit Preaching
• Prepare and deliver scriptural sermons that are applicable and inspiring.
• Preach the majority of Sunday services, may take the fifth Sundays off.
• Ensure that sermons are in line with any goals and objectives set by the trustees.
• Prepare the weekly sermon PowerPoint
Teaching
• Teach Bible classes that edify, motivate, and promote spiritual growth and maturity.
• Adequately study and prepare lessons that are scripturally sound.
• Surveys class members for recommendations on topics of study.
• Allows for discussion and interaction during class sessions.
Discipleship/Evangelism and Community Outreach
• Develop a system to contact and follow-up with visitors.
• Participate in developing and leading outreach efforts within the community.
• Enhance the Church presence in the community to promote outreach opportunities with an evangelistic focus:
a. Review and update website
b. Broadcast services
c. Offer individualized Bible studies
d. Participate in appropriate community activities.
e. Research, develop, and implement effective outreach strategies and programs.
Membership Care
• Participate in coordination and contact of members and the sick and shut ins.
• Model Christian virtues and be a positive, encouraging representative of the truth.
• Provide spiritual guidance and counsel for members and others regarding their spiritual wellbeing, ensuring
confidentiality, discernment, and spiritual judgement.
• Officiate and perform weddings, funerals, and other types of venues as requested.
• Greet and make follow-up contact with visitors
Administration
• Actively participate, when requested, in meetings with the trustees to facilitate effective communication and
coordination of objectives and activities.
• Maintain reasonable office hours as agreed upon with the trustees.
• Produce the weekly church bulletin and other clerical duties
• Coordinate with any agencies that the Church may enter into an agreement with.
• Other duties as assigned.
