Role Description

This is a part-time on-site role for a Chaplain at the Texas Army National Guard. The Chaplain will be responsible for providing spiritual and emotional support to Guard members, conducting religious services, offering counseling, and fostering a supportive environment within the unit.

Qualifications

Possess an accredited Bachelor’s degree (min of 120 credits)
Possess an accredited Theological / Divinity Master’s degree (min of 72 credits)
Obtain a federally recognized ecclesiastical endorsement from your faith group
Be physically and mentally fit (able to meet military fitness standards for HT/WT)
Pastoral Counseling, Religious Services, and Spiritual Support skills
Experience in providing emotional and mental health support
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work well in a team and support diverse religious needs
Experience in a military or similar organizational setting is a plus
Understanding of military culture, values and pluralistic environment
