Job Description
The Minister serves the congregation by proclaiming and teaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ, equipping believers for Christian service, and providing spiritual leadership. Working in partnership under the oversight of the Eldership to fulfill the mission of the church in accordance with the New Testament pattern.
Preaching and Teaching Responsibilities
– Prepare and deliver biblically sound, Christ-centered sermons.
– Teach Bible classes as assigned.
– Prepare weekly articles for the church bulletin and other communication as needed.
– Present lessons that encourage spiritual growth, unity, evangelism, discipleship, and Christian living.
– Faithfully defend and teach sound doctrine consistent with the Scriptures and the beliefs and practices of the Church of Christ.
