We are a diverse, mission-minded, Bible-focused, acapella congregation of about 175 members. We are blessed with an eldership that values teamwork and open communication. Our desire is to work side-by-side with a spiritually mature minister who is committed to preaching God’s word, who exhibits integrity and self-discipline, and who will help us continue building a Christ-centered, loving, serving and evangelizing congregation.


Qualifications:

  • A faithful Christian man who is sound in doctrine, spiritually mature, fully committed to the authority of Scripture and New Testament Christianity, and has a passion for preaching, teaching, evangelism, and discipling others.
  • A servant-leader who is an active Bible student and has a growing personal relationship with Jesus Christ, demonstrated through godly character, faithful service, and compassion for all people.
  • A minister with a formal Bible and ministry education from a brotherhood preaching school or a degree from a Christian university associated with the Churches of Christ, who can communicate biblical truth clearly, practically and passionately to those of all ages and backgrounds, connecting God’s word to real-life struggles with conviction and grace.

Responsibilities:

The Pulpit Minister serves the congregation by proclaiming and teaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ, equipping believers for Christian service, and partners effectively with a supportive eldership to motivate, encourage, and challenge the congregation
toward growth and service in accordance with the New Testament pattern.

  • Pulpit Preaching: Prepare and deliver Christ-centered, biblically sound, thought-provoking, and practical sermons that encourage spiritual growth, unity, evangelism, discipleship, and Christian living.
  • Teaching & Equipping: Lead assigned Sunday and midweek Bible classes. Mentor and support fellow teachers through shared resources and constructive feedback.  
  • Discipleship & Outreach: Model discipleship to equip members to share the Gospel. Coordinate with elders and deacons to strengthen small group involvement, community evangelism and service.
  • Family and Office: Partner with elders and members in visitation in addition to other congregational opportunities.  Work alongside a full-time youth minister, Children’s Ministry Coordinator and Office Manager with integrity and strategic time management to keep the ministry running smoothly

Compensation & Benefits:
The elders are willing to negotiate a generous, full-time salary commensurate with the applicant’s qualifications and experience.  A beautiful home on campus with fully paid utilities will also be included in the hiring package.
