Minister for a small congregation with full responsibilities as the minister of the Word, and minister to our members and the community. Our congregation has members mature in the faith and is financially stable. We are located on the central coast of California.
The role of the preacher is to emphasize Biblical teaching, encourage members, and live the gospel in his personal life.
The work of the preacher includes:
Prepare and deliver three lessons per week (two sermons on Sunday and Wednesday Bible class).
Work with elders to develop evangelism plans.
Contact and follow up with visitors.
Maintain regular contact and encouragement with all members.
Other duties as reasonably required.
Strong candidates will have:
Thorough knowledge of scripture.
Experience in outreach programs designed to grow the congregation.
Organized and punctual.
Positive and optimistic attitude in carrying out all work.
