Magnolia Church of Christ (Magnolia, Texas) is looking for an experienced Preaching Minister to join our team!
Led by five elders, seven deacons, and a youth and family minister, the church family is ready to work with a dedicated servant leader to call the church into a deeper relationship with Christ. Leadership is looking for a married and experienced preacher to help the church grow. The next minister will make Magnolia “home” in order to build a solid foundation of ministry. Leadership desires an individual ready to grow with the congregation and become a key part of the long-term vision.
At Magnolia, the worship is uplifting and encouraging. Bible classes are for all ages, covering a variety of Bible topics and issues affecting us all. Ministries serve our community, our church family and, through our focus on missions, the world that we are a part of. Shepherds have a love for the word of God through Christ (John 1:1-4) and for the church family. Our desire is to “walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, to please Him in all respects, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God” (Colossian 1:10). Key Responsibilities Include:
Biblically-based sermons
Organizing adult Bible classes
Mentoring and studying with individuals
Collaborating and working with other ministry staff, elders, and deacons
Community oriented; willing to connect with members and guests in the community
Qualifications:
A strong, personal relationship with Christ
Passion & experience in preaching (min. 3 year)
Ability to communicate effectively (teaching, preaching, writing)
Ministry degree preferred or relative experience.
