Description:
The Warrensburg Church of Christ is a friendly, family-oriented congregation seeking a full-time preaching
minister who loves God and loves people. We are a warm and busy body of believers with an average Sunday
morning attendance of around 60. Our congregation desires to grow spiritually and numerically under
sound biblical teaching and Christ-like leadership.
Our congregation enjoys a wonderful blend of long-time members, young families, college students, and many
who serve or have served in the U.S. military. We are located directly across from the University of Central
Missouri and just a few miles from Whiteman Air Force Base, providing unique opportunities for outreach
and community involvement.
We are seeking a minister who:
• Demonstrates a deep love for God’s Word and compassion for all people.
• Communicates biblical truth clearly, practically, and passionately.
• Works well with people from a variety of backgrounds and life experiences.
• Partners effectively with a supportive eldership to motivate, encourage, and challenge the congregation
toward growth and service.
• Has a heart for evangelism and involvement in the community, including opportunities with college
students and military families.
Qualifications:
• Sound in doctrine, spiritually mature, and committed to the authority of Scripture.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience in preaching, teaching, and congregational involvement preferred.
• Ministry or Bible degree helpful but not required (experience will be considered).
Compensation:
Competitive salary ($50,000–$60,000) commensurate with experience and family needs.
