The Rocky Mount Church of Christ, in Rocky Mount, Virginia, is seeking a full time Preacher.
The minister will be responsible for preaching on Sunday mornings, teaching bible classes as assigned, conducting personal bible studies as needed, visiting as needed, and supporting congregational activities. The successful candidate will work with an active Eldership and congregation. Since the congregation was formed in 1986, we have been served by five preachers, all retired or moved to be near family. Our current interim preacher and previous preacher will continue to serve as Elders and mentors to the new candidate if needed.
Rocky Mount church of Christ currently has around 60 members, and we value our congregation as a close family. We have recently focused on growing our youth to service and community outreach.
