The Roby Church of Christ (TX) is seeking a man to work with us as a full-time preacher. The candidate must teach and preach from God’s Word only and hold fast to Biblical truths. The preacher will be required to deliver concise and to the point sermons on Sunday mornings, teach a class during Sunday morning Bible classes, and teach the Wednesday night class.
Desirable Qualifications and Expectations:
*Degree from a preaching school or a university, experience is a plus
*Good social skills
*Ability to inspire and guide members
*Visit the sick and shut-ins regularly
*Have compassion and empathy for the needs of the congregation
*Be actively involved in the lives of the members and build relationships within the congregation
Roby Church of Christ is in the small town of Roby, Texas, 25 miles North of Sweetwater and an hour Northwest of Abilene. We average approximately 55 on Sunday morning.
