The Church of Christ in Henryetta, Oklahoma has an average attendance 100+ and a pulpit minister who has been with us over 15 years. Our youth minister recently left our congregation to continue his education full time. Our teen group has about 15 members and we have a large group of elementary students for a church our size.
We see the youth as essential to the growth of our church and need a youth minister to expand our program and encourage our young people in their walk with Christ.
The position comes with a competitive salary and includes a nice 3-bedroom, 2-bath home. A degree in Bible is a plus but not required.

The Rossville Church of Christ, located in Northwest Georgia with approximately 215 in attendance, is prayerfully seeking a full-time Youth and Family Minister to further our Bible-based mission to be one body, loving God, and making disciples.

We are looking for a mature disciple of Christ with strong communication and interpersonal skills to help us work toward this mission.

The Youth and Family Minister will serve as the primary lead for youth education in coordination with our Education Minister, for planning youth activities, and for encouraging parental involvement. He will focus on helping to disciple, teach, encourage, equip, and support youth in grades 6-12 and their families. Previous youth ministry experience and an undergraduate degree in Bible, ministry, or youth ministry-related fields are preferred.

Monticello church of Christ, a 150-year-old congregation in Monticello, Arkansas, is seeking a
full-time minister. We have 100-120 members, four elders, eight deacons, and a college
minister, with a good mix of both younger and older couples. Our congregation does not use instrumental music. We are looking for someone who is growth minded with an excellent work ethic, spiritually grounded, and interested in building relationships not only within our congregation, but also within our community. Duties will include pulpit sermons, teaching and planning adult classes, visiting, community evangelic outreach, and working with other congregations in the area. A minister with a degree in Bible from a Biblically sound institution is preferred but not required.

Salary will be based on experience. Candidates that are married with children are preferred. A part-time secretary position for the minister’s wife will be available, if desired. Our newly constructed church building is located about two miles north of Monticello on Highway 425. Monticello’s population is about 10,000 with the University of Monticello where we have a campus ministry. Compensation includes a three bedroom home on three acres of land right next to the church building and would be a great place to raise a family.

Washington is a multicultural town of about 12,000. It has a small hometown feel, but with the I-69 corridor larger cities are easily accessible in 45-50 minutes. In addition to our local outreach programs, we support various missions, children’s homes, and camps.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Responsibilities to the church:

• Support the mission/vision of the elders and the church, primarily focusing on youth and
their families.
• Be an effective communicator.
• Preach and/or teach when needed.
• Hospital visits, visitor follow-up, bulletin articles, etc., related families and their
children.

Responsibilities to Youth and their Families:

• Coordinate activities with families and their children and develop relationships.
• Recruit, organize, and speak at family and youth events, as well as train volunteers for
summer youth camps, retreats, trips, and area-wide youth gatherings and youth rallies.
• Plan, coordinate, and lead weekly teen fellowship activities, outings, and service/work
projects.
• Engage in the church’s social media presence, especially for youth and their families.
Communicate with them and the community on relevant platforms (i.e., Facebook,
Twitter-X, Instagram, church website, etc.).
• Build relationships with parents by keeping them updated with books, articles, or other
resources on various issues related to youth, their families, and current culture.
• Mentor youth by spending time with them in their homes, at church, and at school
events.
• Conduct youth and family gatherings and group events.
• Organize events for the younger children to mentor and prepare them for graduation to
the youth group.

Experience Guidelines:

• Degree in Bible or Ministry, or graduate of a brotherhood Bible Institute.
• Experience as a family life or youth minister, pulpit minister, or educator.
