• Pulpit preaching – Prepare and deliver scriptural sermons that are applicable and inspiring.  Ensure that the worship services are Christ-centered and Holy Spirit led.
• Teach Bible classes – Teaching classes that edify, motivate, and promote spiritual growth and maturity. Provide coaching and mentoring to other teachers of the Word.
• Lead ministry team – Oversee and assist the other ministers on staff.

• Actively attend Elders and Deacons meetings to facilitate effective communication and coordination of objectives and activities.

• Biblical Knowledge – Proficient Biblical knowledge and ability to apply Biblical principles to current culture; spends time in prayer and study of God’s Word daily.
• Possesses a desire for continuous personal growth; regularly taking advantage of learning opportunities (e.g. personal study, reading, conferences, seeking counsel with the Elders and other Ministers).

About:
The Oak Hill Church of Christ desires a dedicated and passionate individual 
(preferably married with children) to join our ministry team as an Associate 
Minister. Primary responsibilities will include working with families and 
being committed to an involvement with our youth, young adults, and college 
students.
There should be natural support of our visitation program, community outreach 
programs, and all other teaching opportunities. We seek a candidate with a 
deep devotion to the authority and teaching of God’s Word, strong spiritual 
leadership qualities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to 
build relationships among membership and community. This position will 
significantly assist the Pulpit Minister in various duties routinely and as 
needed.
In addition to assisting our varied ministries, the associate will be 
self-motivated to exercise his skills for a purposeful approach to the 
Lord’s work while respectfully serving under the spiritual guidance of the 
eldership. Preferred credentials include a bachelor’s degree in the Bible or 
ministry and 5 to 10 years of experience in ministry. This is a full-time

An Open Notification to Ministers of the Gospel:

Located in Searcy, Arkansas, Truth for Today World Mission School was established, in part, in 1983. It has grown through the years into a multi-pronged edifying and equipping work that is now reaching out as far as any effort among us. We write, process, and print a new 52-page, expository, study journal every month. We are addressing the language barriers of the world by translating many of our materials into 23 of the major and significant minor languages. We are closing in on completing the most expansive commentary set that our brotherhood has done. We now have 56 commentaries in print, and we will probably have 65 when we finish. We have an online school which has 517 courses in place, some of which are in 23 languages. This school is being received, in some degree, in 90 percent of the land area of the world. When it is fully developed with its 1,500 courses, it will be dedicated to giving the most Bible to the most people in the shortest amount of time.

Our need is this: We would like to put into place two preachers of excellent quality who will preach in connection with our work. They will each go out to the churches, both small and large, every other Sunday, telling about TFTWMS, and encouraging the brethren in their work. They will be winning the lost and inspiring the churches to grow and take on the world with the gospel. During the week, they will help lead TFTWMS in various ways. They will write and develop programs that will encourage congregations to live up to their potential. They will live in Searcy, AR, and have a study/office in the building of TFTWMS, which is located two-miles from Harding University. These are choice positions, and will certainly allow these two preachers to have a world impact with the gospel. The preachers must be faithful, of a gentle spirit, well-balanced, well-respected, and possessing a quality educational background.
